As the first woman to lead a major UK bank, she drove strategic change, cultural transformation, and capital growth at NatWest Group. A champion of female entrepreneurship and industry action on climate change, she was appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in 2023 for her services to the financial sector.
